I am really thrilled to introduce my new project Intertwined that I propose for flood-resilient houses in Pakistan. This project is developed with multi-disciplinary approach - architectural, anthropological, and technical approach with an initiative to provide a sustainable housing construction in Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan in Pakistan. So, there are a lot to explain about the design process, but let me start explaining the project with 4 major building materials chosen for the project.

One of the major materials used for this project is earth, and this is related with the local building tradition. Most rural buildings in Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan are made of soil, and local people have developed a strong tradition and skill related to soil.

What other materials would be used for the project? These will be known subsequently introduced through this blog page and my social media - Instagram and Facebook. So, keep an eye on this. ;)
